We arrived and was greeted with a smile and was on first name terms straight away... Very friendly and made to feel welcome straight away.. Chris and Jane are wonderful people and i felt like i had known them for years.. The room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. We will be staying again as we feel we have found a gem which is central to all the places we want to visit.. Breakfast was lovely with a nice relaxed atmosphere which set us up for the rest of our day.. Read less

the hosts were very helpfull and friendly,they cant do enough for you.came away feeling like we had been friends for years.
Dislikes:
could have been a little warmer but they cant control the weather.

The Hotel and Chalets were clean , private and ideal for us and our small Dog. We enjoyed Breakfast and a guest appearence from Bear the lovely Big Dog (the owners Pet) the owners were friendly too.

I really loved staying at Long melford. Almost everything was managed and presented in friendly way. The internet facility, car park, sitting room and specially the wash room was really spacious.
Dislikes:
I was perfect but just if some more television stations are added it will become completely perfect.

Their kindness and generosity goes far beyond what is expected. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in! The residents only bar makes for a relaxing evening with a homely feel.
