A beautiful "wool church" dating from Anglo Saxon times with fantastic stained glass windows. It is open every day ,frequent concerts are held in the church and many a wedding.

SUDBURY
An Ancient market town set in the heart of the River Stour Valley and well known for the house of Thomas Gainsborough. A a market is still held on Thursdays and Saturdays and there is a tourist information shop with info on walks,cycle routes and lots more.

Scores of timber framed houses and a fine church built by wealthy cloth merchants.It has a magnificent Guildhall ( National trust) in the marketplace. Home of "The Crooked House" and a small but fantastic gift shop with a huge collection of Teddy bears.
